It's time for real change in mental health services.
Mental Health Reform is calling for an extra €200 million in Budget 2026 to fix long waiting lists and build a better system for everyone.
Together with our member organisations, Mental Health Reform call on the Government to invest in real change for mental health services for Budget 2026. This includes:
€80m
to sustain existing Levels of service
€120m
to develop new services that will drive change in the system.
Funding is essential to progress the implementation of our national mental health policy Sharing the Vision, to support early intervention and prevention, and to improve access to mental health services for communities across Ireland.
We’re saying enough is enough. The wait is too long and the cost is too high. The bill must be paid.
The Budget 2026 announcement is just weeks away and we need your support. We have created a template letter with all the information your TD needs about why Government must act now and invest in mental health.
“Mental Health Reform recently launched its #PayTheBill campaign which calls on the Government to invest an additional €200M in Ireland’s mental health services in #Budget2026.
