Coalition Conversations “The Community Context: Learnings from Samaritans Ireland”

We are delighted to present the third edition in the Coalition Conversations series, “The Community Context: Learnings from Samaritans Ireland”

As we are confronted with COVID-19 and what are worrying times, the support provided by the community and voluntary sector has never been more important.

This new way of living and the uncertainty we face will naturally give rise to challenging feelings and many of our members and community organisations have been doing incredible work to provide people with emotional support during this time. The Samaritans are one such organisation and they have partnered with Ulster University to better understand the change in the number and nature of their callers during this crisis.

We are thrilled to be joined by:

  • Maurice Mulvenna, Ulster University;
  • Louise Hamra, Samaritans Ireland;
  • Ciaran Moore, Samaritans Ireland.

Our expert guests will explore bring attendees through their experience throughout this COVID-19 pandemic and what insights we can take from their findings.

Date: Thursday, 2nd July
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 PM
