Cuts to mental health will lead to system collapse

Our statement in response to Minister Reilly’s announcement that he is considering to cut €35 million from the mental health budget. Mental Health Reform has warned that any further cuts to mental health will lead to a complete collapse of the mental health services.

Breaking NEWS: Capital Investment in Health announced today

The Government has today announced that it will replace the Central Mental Hospital which dates from 1850 with an appropriate modern facility for treating and caring for patients with mental illness.
