This seminar is a one-hour, awareness-raising session designed to improve participants’ mental health literacy, offering a practical overview of Ireland’s evolving mental health care system. It explores the historical shift toward recovery-focused, rights-based care and equips attendees with information on available services, including psychoeducation, peer support, and talk therapies. The session engages participants to challenge misconceptions, reflect on their own understanding, and feel more confident navigating mental health support options.

Objectives
By the end of the session, participants will:
