1. About Budget 2025

Together with our 85 member organisations, Mental Health Reform call on the Government to invest an additional €120 million in our mental health services for Budget 2025. This includes:

  • €40 million to maintain existing services,

  • €80 million to develop new services that will drive change in the system.

Funding is essential to progress the implementation of our national mental health policy Sharing the Vision, to support early intervention and prevention, and to improve access to mental health services for communities across Ireland.

This is the final year in the current programme for government and our last opportunity to secure adequate investment for mental health before the general election. This event is an opportunity for us to come together and urge the Government to make mental health a priority for Budget 2025.

People with mental health difficulties cannot afford to wait any longer.

The Budget 2025 announcement is just weeks away and we need your support. We have teamed up with Uplift to create a template email with all the information your TD needs about why Government must act now and invest in mental health.

Read our Pre-Budget Submission to the Government, which outlines our key asks for Budget 2025.
