Róisín joined Mental Health Reform in March 2025 as Research and Programmes Officer. She has previously been involved in research projects about psychosis intervention, gender roles in parenting, and neural stimulation. She holds an Msc in Clinical Health Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast. Her master’s dissertation explored the application of a brain-computer interface with wireless EEG for stroke recovery. Róisín has also volunteered in social groups for people with intellectual disability.
